Complimentary Ice Time for Charitable Purposes (RQM Policy 76)
This policy provides schools and not-for-profit organizations use of the ice surface at Queens Place Emera Centre for the purpose of fundraising. Fourteen hours of ice usage are available during each regular ice season (approximately September 15 to May 15). The maximum amount of complimentary ice time per approval will be two hours. Requests must be submitted to the General Manager no late than one month prior to the event. Please review Policy 76 for full details.
Queens Place Ice Rental Cancellations (RQM Policy 78)
This policy provides ice users and user groups a guideline regarding any ice cancellation. Please review thoroughly review Policy 78 for full details.
Not-For-Profit Community Group Facility Usage (RQM Policy 79) This policy provides Queens County based not-for-profit community groups with meeting space at Queens Place Emera Centre free of charge. Not-for-profit community groups will be permitted to use half of the Community Room up to four hours per month at no charge. Meetings must conclude by 8:45 pm Monday to Friday and by 3:45 pm Saturday and Sunday. Should the four hour maximum be exceeded, a 30% discount will be applied to the regular rental fee. The request must be made at least 2 days prior to the meeting. Please review Policy 79 for full details.
